Digital technology and infrastructure has a significant impact on the way in which health facilities function and the way in which they integrate with other physical and virtual health service delivery channels and processes. Digital technology and infrastructure requirements and opportunities should be considered at the time that health facility investments are planned, and as an integral part of facility and business process design. This will ensure that digital technology, business and clinical processes and facility design are aligned.
The Ministry Data and Digital team are looking for a Technology Advisor to lead the consideration of digital technology and infrastructure for new capital investments, with a specific focus on new facility investments. They will work closely with the Digital Portfolio Team, the Health Infrastructure team and health provider agencies. The role is available as secondment or fixed term.
This is an opportunity for a senior experienced information technology professional with broad knowledge of network, infrastructure, data, application and business architecture and design principles.
