I note that there was likely an interesting presentation on the interactions between openEHR and FHIR at the [recent HL7 WGM in Athens](https://www.hl7.eu/wgm2024/index.html):

> There is an interest from the HL7 community that we present how openEHR and FHIR can work together in the HL7 WGM that is being held from the 15th to the 19th of January in Athens. I won’t be able to attend in person, is anyone from the community...

One of the interesting aspects of our embrace of FHIR here in NZ is that it actually opens up the door to considering openEHR for those things which FHIR is weak at (i.e. a persistant longitudinal personal health record), as openEHR is so well FHIR connected / wrapped.

Is it worth making the effort to get a recording of that to share here?

Hi Nathan,

I’ll grab it and share here along with some other recent great materials on the topic.
I’m the official openEHR ambassador in NZ and have been involved since 2001. I also served as an elected Management Board member back in the days so this topic is very close to my heart!
