Has there been a change to rescript process recently? Getting more instances of people turning up and the Rx not having arrived and I think the issue is that people now have to click on a link on an email or txt to confirm they want the script sent to that pharmacy, which people don’t know about. Queue chasing doctors looking for scripts. Do people need to click that link or is it a coincidence I’ve only just noticed?

I don’t think there has been a change - the default pharmacy when sending scripts by reScript is " patient choice" which then relies on the patient receiving a txt message to select pharmacy and delivery method. I am assuming that during Covid, prescribers were possibly selecting the pharmacy based on where the patient advised them they want to collect their medication from.
Depends on the PMS how it works…
