I am pleased (actually, quite ecstatic) to note the Northern Region has agreed to a funding request for a Regional RPA subject to a BC. If the BC is approved in FY19/20 and there is budget available, a Regional RPA Platform may be available by June 2020. The BC will confirm the required Investment for (1) the technology and (2) the Regional & Local Operating and Support structures required to ensure successful deployment and ongoing operation. Deployment of “Robots” within the Northern Region has the potential to deliver significant savings and benefits, but it also introduces new ways of working and risks that need to be addressed and managed.
