Huh, so looks like Epic deployed an automated triage tool during the pandemic, and is yet to be transparent about the data or the algorithm. Appears to be for a similar use case as NEWS/EWS (Early Warning Score).

I wonder how many untested algorithms are being used in NZ’s DHBs?
I would guess not many like this, but plenty of manual ones informed by international data and not captured electronically (success or failure). Interesting question about risk.
The Algorithm Scan research project being led by Pieta Brown should go some way towards answering your question, Rochelle, though I know it has been hard for this research team to try to capture work at all of the DHBs.
