Hi All. I’ve been approached by an ex-colleague in Singapore who has a startup that has developed an A.I. clinical monitoring platform called Bot MD Care. Bot MD created their own NLP engine which can power any chat platform (e.g. WhatsApp, Messenger, SMS) to help doctors and nurses automate monitoring, reminders and education for patients.
Their product has already been used by several of the public hospitals in Singapore (NUHS, TTSH) to help with a range of clinical use cases including COVID-19 monitoring as well as for hypertension and diabetes. In the Philippines they have started to power Viber to help with monitoring of peritonitis and post kidney transplant patients. The platform can send messages in any language including English, Mandarin, Malay, Tagalog etc.
BotMD has passed the security protocols of Singapore govt which we know isn’t easy.
I was thinking that the multiple language and multiple chat apps could be a way of engaging with patients in NZ who we currently struggle to access.
They are keen to look for some opportunities to trial the app in NZ so let me know if you have any thoughts or ideas.
