Hi @JonoH
There are several options and the NZ Telehealth group are doing some work in this space. Maybe have a look at their webpage. Several patients portals have video consult facilities, and there is also zoom, Skype (although that’s a pain to use). Several DHBs have a licence for zoom, but there is also a free option. NZePS enables electronic prescribing. Some clear guidance will be released soon by the NZTLG, @Ruth_Large is the person to contact. Also @Lucyw for DHB info.
Great question @JonoH and Inga has given you some pointers. The NZTLG are working on updating our Provider and patient advice in this area. We hope to have this up over the weekend. Here’s our website https://www.telehealth.org.nz/
Things are changing rapidly and we will be looking to keep the website updated and linked to the covid response page in the MOH.
Wants what? Telehealth in general??? Don’t you guys have zoom up and running now?
We are standing up Cisco jabber as per our business case that got shelved post SH.
Ah the irony…
Hi Ruth - I am really sorry but I don’t now what I was responding to with this to be honest! Please excuse me to many things going on I may have hit the button before I meant to but cannot remember what I was meaning now! LOL
NZ private dermatologists are using doxy.me. I’ve taken a look at it and I like it: easy to use with clear instructions, no personal health information recorded
