Over the last couple of years I’ve talked to a few people trying to do things like this with ML in NZ. I think it’s a super interesting space which could have major benefits. Unfortunately most of them have fizzled or pivoted.
HeartLab seems to have gotten some traction - anyone know whether the HeartLab team are delivering good outcomes yet? Or whether there are any new start-ups in this space worth watching?
@Sam_Schuurman they haven’t fizzled out! They are still working on their AI capabilities but have since ramped up the reporting functionality of their platform as I currently use it for my cardiac ultrasound private practice. The cloud storage ability is great as you can report from anywhere and I think this, along with their future AI product has the potential to disrupt cardiac ultrasound provision! Watch this space.
